Puppy Training
Start your puppy off on the right foot.

Congrats on your new puppy! When's the best time to start training? Now!
Training is important, especially for puppies. I'm often asked when the best time is to start training, and my answer is always "as soon as possible." The earlier you start training your puppy, the better manners they will have!
Right from the start you want to start building a strong foundation with your puppy and start building a bond and respect. It's important that you learn how to be a leader with your puppy.
My approach is to educate you the owner on how to teach and understand your dog. What I give you is a tool box that you can use whatever issues or new behaviours arise.
Street Safety Training for your puppy
I encourage all owners to take a Street Safety Training class with their puppy. With 16 classes in a session, we will cover a broad range of topics such as tips on crate training and house training, nipping, jumping, leash walking, chewing, grooming, feeding and how to socialize your dog. You will learn how to keep your puppy fulfilled and mentally stimulated. Because I hold classes in different locations week to week, you will expose your puppy to lots of different things. Plus it's a great opportunity for socialization.
Puppies and adult dogs are all in the same class of Street Safety Training. From an early age, it's important for dogs to be around and learn from other dogs and continue what they started in the litter with their mom. A well educated dog is a happy dog!
If you aren't able to get to a Street Safety Training class, I also offer Private Training sessions for you and your puppy. We can work on the specific issues that you have and work to build a foundation of trust and respect. Haven't yet chosen your puppy or new dog? A Pre-Pet Counselling session can help you choose the best dog for your family.
Whichever option you choose, I look forward to working with you and your new puppy!
